By the age of 14 Mark Higgs, Owner and operator of Generation floors, was installing carpet on his own for his fathers flooring store in bountiful. Trained by his father and older brothers, Mark took installing to the next level by learning hardwood, laminate, LVP, tile and vinyl installation.

Mark has taught and groomed many installers, friends and family, who have now been able to spread their wings and install on their own.

WALK THROUGH:

After our install we will schedule a walk through to come and inspect the quality and the service you received.

This is a way for us to make sure you have been treated the right way and you love your new product!

WARRANTY:

When you purchase material from Generation Floors you receive product warranty granted by our distributors.

In addition to this courtesy anything labor related is warrantied for 1 year and after that year at discounted rates.

Mark is a local Kaysville resident and has been installing floors since the age of 12! Mark was introduced into the world of flooring by his dad, Alden, who owned his own carpet store in Bountiful, Utah. In the fall of 2020 Mark along side his wife Karin, set up shop in Kaysville, UT and Generation Floors was born. Using his hometown, family values, Mark strives to create genuine relationships with his customers and values integrity and honesty!

Carson is a young, intuitive, hard worker who got his start at the age of just 8, picking up scraps and keeping the job clean for a payout of $5 while dad Mark installed his jobs. Shortly after returning from his LDS mission he took on flooring full-time and continues to carry on generations of experience and hard work passed down starting from Grandpa Higgs.

Preston has recently joined our family in our front office. He is genuinely friendly and loves meeting customers as they come through our door! He is recently returned from serving an LDS mission in Oakland California and is currently at Weber State University studying neuroscience. Preston enjoys getting to know customers and loves the family atmosphere in the office.
